A little over a year ago was when I was first became inspired by Bernie Sanders and began to see myself as a political "Progressive". What immediately struck me was 1) the candid, authentic talk about the root problem of Corruption and 2) the Together we can do anything! message rooted in a Democracy of, by, and for The People. I gave money. I went to rallies. I phone banked. I knocked on doors. I put a Bernie bumper sticker on my truck. And I went to the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia to march on the streets in support for positive change in the world.
All the while I continue looking out at the country / world and the ever-increasing effects the Corruption is having. Our culture feels meaningless. Our idols are pop stars and athletes. Our ultimate goal is money. Our connection to Earth is non-existent. Our education is systemic indoctrination. Our agriculture is unhealthy. Our mottos are 'More is Better' and "Winner Take All." Our healthcare is a commodity. Our prisons are a business. Our mainstream media is unreliable. As We, The People feel progressively brainwashed, manipulated, disconnected, overworked, stressed, sick, confused, uninspired, exhausted, scared, lied to, exploited, and hurting at pretty much every level.
"We are numb to what is meaningful."
We are numb as a society / culture to what is meaningful / what matters. We are mass-shootings. We are police brutality. We are abused women. We are hungry children. We are racist. We are destroying the planet's ecosystems. We are watching / supporting / saying nothing as our elections are being stolen and while our elected leaders pass corporate-rewarding legislation undermining people / planet (NAFTA, TPP). We are bailing out / deregulating Wall Street (Glass-Steagall). We are supporting Fossil Fuels (fracking / drilling). We are incarcerating millions (prison labor). We are poisoning / privatizing our food supply (GMOs). We are selling arms to dictators (Saudi Arabia) that create terrorists groups (ISIS) which we leverage with lies and propaganda as reasons to invade counties where we murder innocent people, change their governments, and control their lands and resources (Afghanistan... Iraq... Libya... Syria... Iran...) We are now bombing Yemen, fabricating lies about Russia, and advocating a No Fly Zone in Syria that will instigate another unnecessary war / regime-change-attempt, this time with Russia and Syria and possibly China who is now arriving to stand with them against us.
Why? Why are we seeing this? Why is our government raping our Earth, attacking foreign countries, and undermining the interests of The People at every level? I believe the root of the Corruption is found in the 1% of the 1% Power Elite --- the Rothschilds / Rockefellers / Soroses --- who are intent on controlling the people and resources of the planet. They use the power of banking / money in capitalistic societies to consolidate massive resources that they then use to corrupt governments and buy / control national media. I believe they are pulling the strings and appoint our presidents. I realize, too, that this is "Conspiracy Theory 101" stuff here with notions of a New World Order. And yet the facts add up and what we're seeing (more and more all the time) point to it as the puller of strings that explain the mess we find our planet / humanity in.
Governments are supposed to be a check for Capitalism.
The Media is supposed to be a check on Government.
What we're seeing now, however, is a total reversal where Capitalism is controlling both.
"Where there is Democracy, there is hope."
The power of Democracy, however — the harnessing the Will of The People --- is one of the only things that the corruption of Power Elite can not control (at least not completely) relative to each individual’s ability to use their free will to cast their vote in the polling booth. Where there is Democracy, there is Hope. Having said that, through this election and through Wikileaks we have seen / are seeing how much corruption has already infiltrated and undermined our election infrastructure / media. Indeed, our Democracy is holding on by its fingernails.
The people-powered support for Bernie Sanders, however, almost tipped the apple cart. It wasn’t expected. It was “impossible”. Which was why the election fraud had to become so blatant. The blatant media bias. The Associated Press falsely announcing Hillary as the winner the morning of the CA primary. The 100,000+ Bernie supporters dropped from Brooklyn. Lifelong (Bernie-supporting) Democrats having their registration changed so they couldn’t vote. Exit Polls off by double digits in areas that have hackable, proprietary voting machines (owned by Hillary supporters). Hillary doing significantly better in areas that don’t have paper trails. Lawsuits filed from sea to shining sea with ever-increasing evidence of election fraud in state after state after state. The list is long and anyone who doesn’t believe the primary was stolen from Sanders simply isn’t paying attention.
The reason is the Corruption. Corruption that the Power-Elite are using to appoint Hillary as President. Corruption that Sanders was putting attention on throughout the primary and what, I believe, caused his historical explosion of support. The majority of people are waking up to the Corruption. We'd become numb and powerless to it until Bernie showed up and started pointing to it and calling it out and standing up to it.
Hillary Clinton is corrupt. The Clinton Machine is corrupt. The DNC is corrupt. The Republican Party is corrupt. The Obama Administration is corrupt. The Department of Justice is corrupt. Our Courts are corrupt. Our Media is corrupt. Corrupt, corrupt, corrupt, corrupt.
We are at the 11th Hour, with only our Democracy still available to us, albeit hanging on by a thread.
Individual by individual.
You / Me / We.
Vote by vote.
Choice by choice.
Election by election.
"When we do this, we can change the world."
The only way to create an uncorrupted government is for You / Me / We to vote for uncorrupted candidates. There is no other criterion other than 'Corruption' worth considering at this point. Because the change needed will never happen on it’s own. We need to play our part to make it happen. To stand up, empower our Democracy, and vote for uncorrupted candidates who are on the right side of issues. When we do this in unison, we can change the world. To vote with any other consideration in mind other than Corruption, however, simply makes us complicit with it continuing.
With regard to Donald Trump... he is most certainly a xenophobic, racist, misogynistic ego-manic who would be a terrible president. What we've learned through a Wikileaks email, however, is that Trump was "elevated" by the Clinton Campaign / the Power-Elite / the Corporate Media to be Hillary’s 'Evil Foil'. To enable this "Lesser Evil" narrative to distract the American People from the election fraud and corruption that, at this point, continues to pour out daily through Wikileaks. When we are lost in the world of Anti-Trump-Trump-Trump we're not focusing on the real problem: the Corruption, the Corruption, the Corruption.
A vote for Hillary Clinton is a vote for Corruption.
There is no way around it.
It's a vote for continued wars based on lies and propaganda.
For murdering innocent women and children.
For an unreliable, propaganda media.
For continued destruction of our beautiful, live-giving, Divine Cosmic Mother of a planet.
On November 8th Jill Stein is the only uncorrupted candidate committed to positive change.
If you consider yourself a Progressives you have no other option.
Jill Stein is also on the right side of... everything.
Here's a link to her vision to see for yourself: http://www.jill2016.com/platform
Some think she’s not “qualified” / “experienced” enough to be President? As the only uncorrupted Progressive candidate, to me she’s simply the only option. I also believe she has what it takes, based on 1) her profound integrity and 2) what I saw / felt in-person from her in Philadelphia. She's a smart, committed woman who would surround her with people like herself committed to positive change. And with the support of The People, we would figure it out together. New territory for everyone. Something we haven't seen before. Which is precisely what we need. Besides, using your vote to protest Trump by voting for Hillary is a vote for the Corruption. We each get to choose to either be part of the problem or part of the solution.
Now, I say all this with the realization that Jill Stein is not going to become President, short of some unexpected miracle. Which, quite simply, would entail every so-called Progressive who was "Feeling the Bern" six months ago to vote for her as the only progressive candidate remaining. Which, admittedly, does not seem so miraculous to me. Where did everyone go who were so excited to be part of a Political Revolution to turn our Democracy around?
Creating political change is rooted in Progressives who are able to see through the bullshit lies and propaganda and be on the right side of the voting booth. Because voting for uncorrupted candidates is the ONLY way we're going to restore our Democracy and get the corruption out of our government. If you have another way, please let me know. It starts with us. With the conversations we have with ourselves, our friends, our family, and with strangers. It starts with a continued commitment to shine light on the Truth. With inspiring citizens who don't vote to participate. With doing our individual part to invigorate our Democracy with the participation needed to overwhelm / overpower the corruption in place to prevent it. It starts with what each person chooses to do when they're standing alone in the voting booth.

Finally, if you consider yourself a Progressive and haven’t had the time to do the required digging to get to the Truth of What Is, below are some links.
First are sources for ongoing news / information. Each are great in their own way. Stay as far away as possible, too, from the ongoing onslaught of propaganda from our corrupted Media (note: where 6 multinational corporations own 90% of it).
Second are some videos / links that I think are worth checking out asap if you haven’t seen them already. As far as I’m concerned, the first three from Debbie at Sane Progressive are “required reading” for Progressives 101. I’ve not seen anyone nail the Truth of What Is like Debbie, so watch these first as some welcomed smelling salts against the spells of propaganda.

"I believe in our humanity."
As a final note, I believe in our humanity.
I believe in the more beautiful world I know in my heart is possible.
And I believe that each of us matter, particularly when we stand together.
Given the corruption / propaganda when things can feel hopeless, there is one thing we each can do.
We can be a Progressive.
We can get Present with the Truth of What Is.
We can choose to stand up for what is right.
We can vote for Jill Stein on November 8th.
We can continue to vote for uncorrupted, progressive candidates like Jill every chance we get.
When enough of us do this, we take our Democracy back and create positive change in the world.
It starts here.
It starts now.
It starts with you.
Step by step.
Vote by vote.
Choice by choice.
What would Love do?
Here's a list of everyone depicted in the photo compilation: left to right, top to bottom.
Thank You to all of them for being a much-needed Progressive Voice in the world.
Thank You, too, to all the other sources of Truth and Transparency out there.
It makes a difference.
